Help ! Missing Fonts in New Version ??

Hi Patrick.

I am having a huge problem here. I have the latest version of Collage Maker,
but...

all my projects look messed up and out of place.

I discovered the problem is that the new version doesn't have the fonts I used
in the projects, so it selects other fonts instead.

Now nothing fits right, all the text is all over the place, and my projects
from the past year for all my clients websites can't be used
without a serious over-haul, AND the fonts I want to use aren't there
so I have to settle for something else.

What's going on here ?

Why are fonts missing from the new version ?

Please help.... I have clients that need website updates
and normally that would take only a few minutes with
by opening the orriginal banners in collage maker and making
the small changes and re-saving the image and uploading.

But with this issue, I would basically have to spend hours
re-configuring the project to fit right and look nice again,
and the orriginal fonts aren't there so my clients won't
be happy about the font changes.

Please help !

Hi

The software does not come with any font, it just use the fonts installed on your computer.

So, the difference is the fonts between your new computer and your old computer.

You can copy all fonts files from your old computer to the new computer.

The font folder on your old computer should be:

C:\Windows\Fonts

I think you can just copy all of the files to your new computer.

However, since my old computer hard-drive is fried...
I can't get that folder of fonts.

Is there any way I can rip the font names from the raw project file ?

If I open the project it puts any missing fonts to " arial " as default,
so I can't tell what the names of the fonts were that are saved in the project.

I have not re-saved any projects, so the font names should be
saved in the project file data somewhere....

Is there any way I can get the saved font names out of the raw project file without opening it Collage Maker ?

Hey Patrick,
I know you're super busy...

Just wondering if you can tell me if there is ANY way I can rip the font names from the project files ?

Perhaps in a resource editor or something ?

I need to know the font names that are stored in the projects,
so I can go out and find those fonts for my new computer.

When I try to open the projects they default to " arial " for all fonts that are missing on my computer,
so there is no way for me to tell what font I had orriginally saved it as.
The font name must be stored in the project file.... it just changes to arial when opened, so I never
get to see the orriginal font name.

I have not re-saved any projects when opened on my new computer. I just opened, saw the mess....
and closed them. So, my orriginal font names must be in the project file somewhere.

So, what I'm asking is if there is any way to extract those font names from the raw project file,
so I can go seek out those fonts, and add them to my new computer THEN open the Collage Maker Projects ??
