Aleo Flash Slideshow Gallery Maker provides easy tools for making slideshows.

The program's interface is a breeze to manage, due in part to a Wizard that walks you through every step of the process. We never needed to consult the Help file, because the onscreen directions are so strong. You can coordinate the speed and effects of your slideshow by clicking a handful of options on the first screen. From there, you choose either photos, videos, or both to include in the show, and arrange them to your liking. You can save your slideshow as a simple Flash file or as a Flash Gallery, which produces HTML, SWF, and XML files. The Flash Gallery accommodates users with greater expertise, but we can't see most people making much use of it. Regardless, our slideshow turned out well, with a professional look, and was ready to embed on a Web site. The program's best feature is its capability to add background music with a single button, which spices up your slideshows substantially. We were pleased with the ease and results of this program and felt it was a strong choice for beginners and experts alike.

powerful and easy to use

Pros: powerful, easy to use

Cons: none, happy with it.

Summary: I tested a bunch of flash slide show maker software, and this one is the best. It's so powerful, i made a slide show header banner, a photo gallery, a video gallery and a news roller banner for my website, and all with just $39. And the pan zoom maker function is also very helpful to make professional slide show.

Great product, great support

Pros: It's easy to use, allows a lot of control and once you get the hang of it, makes a tedious, fiddly job easy to do in a snap. Most of all, the support was prompt, helpful and human, not just a redirection to hopeless FAQs.

Cons: Not everything is completely intuitive so it takes a little while figure out what each bit does.

Summary: I have now bought three of Aleo's products and before that spent a lot of time trawling the net and trying out test versions of various products. This is by far the best I found and at a very reasonable price. What really made me a fan though, was the fact that when I couldn't work out how to do something, they answered my query quickly and kept in contact until it was sorted out. In my experience this is a rare and wonderful thing. I highly recommend the software and company.
