Set text as animated text effect or static text, define timing parameters of animated text effects.

Timing mode

When the option "Ignore incoming time setting, show stages one after another" is selected, the incoming time settings of images and texts will be ignored, and all of the images and texts will display one after another, whereas if the option is not selected, you can set incoming time of each image or text respectively, that's you can control the timing of each image and text to create very complex animations.

Dynamic animated text effect and static text

Dynamic animated text effects display on Flash movie according to the timing parameters, while static text effects display on background during the entire Flash movie. In the below Flash movie, the texts "Flash Intro and Banner Maker" and "Create Flash intros, banners and ecards in just a few clicks" are dynamic text effects, and the "Skip Intro" is static text.

Timing parameters of dynamic text effect

Basically, a dynamic text effect contains three phases: Animation of text entering Flash movie, text displaying on Flash movie, Animation of text leaving the Flash movie. Take the text effect "Flash Intro and Banner Maker" of above Flash movie as an example, in the first phase, the text zooms out and shows, then it goes into the second phase, displaying on the Flash movie for 2 seconds, after that, it steps into the third phase, zooms out and disappears.

Incoming time of the text (Seconds)

This parameter defines the incoming time of text. It will be ignored when the option "Ignore incoming time setting, show stages one after another" is selected.

Remove all kept texts and images or previous stages

This option will remove all previous dynamic texts and images kept by the option "Keep the text on Flash movie after the current stage end". It's only valid when the option "Ignore incoming time setting, show stages one after another" is selected.

Delay (Seconds) before the text enters Flash movie

By default, a dynamic text effect will display immediately after the previous text effect disappears. This value will delay current text effect for specified seconds. It's only valid when the option "Ignore incoming time setting, show stages one after another" is selected.

Skip the action of text entering Flash movie, Skip the action of text leaving Flash movie

This option will skip the animations of text entering Flash movie and leaving Flash movie, and replace them with default "fade in" and "fade out " animations.

Display multiple lines synchronously, Remove multiple lines synchronously

If there are multiple lines in one stage, the texts will display and disappear one line by one line be default. With these two options, the multiple lines will display at the same time and disappear at the same time.

Time of text displays on Flash movie (Seconds)

A dynamic text effect contains three phases: Animation of text entering Flash movie, text displaying on Flash movie, Animation of text leaving the Flash movie. This value sets the duration time of the second phase.

Keep the text on Flash movie after the current stage end, Remove all kept texts of previous stages

• Keep the text on Flash movie after the current stage end: by default, the dynamic animated texts will leave the Flash banner. With this option on, the current dynamic text effect will not disappear and will stay on the Flash movie;
• Remove all kept texts of previous stages: if the option "Ignore incoming time setting, show stages one after another" is selected, this option will remove all previous dynamic text effects kept by the option "Keep the text on Flash movie after the current stage end".

Take the below Flash movie for an example, the text effects "Powerful", "Easy", "Flexible" and "Long-term" have selected the options "Keep the text on Flash movie after the current stage end", so they stay on Flash movie after their stages end. And the text effect "Aleo Software Inc" has selected the option "Remove all kept texts of previous stages", so all kept texts disappear before the "Aleo Software Inc" displays.

Remove text from left to right

By default, the right most character of the text in one line will be the first one to be removed. With this option on, the left most character will be removed firstly. Take the below Flash movie for an example, in the first "Flash Intro and Banner Maker", this option is on, so the left most character disappears firstly, in the second "Flash intro and banner maker", this option is off, then the right most character disappears firstly.
